Methodology
Sources
We prioritise primary public statistics and documents: Statistics Canada, U.S. BLS/BEA/Treasury/CBO, Eurostat, ECB, OECD, IMF, national finance ministries, parliamentary bill pages, courts, and supreme audit institutions. Secondary reporting is used for context and always linked when relied upon. Time-sensitive figures should be refreshed against the live agency page before external citation.
Verification bar
- Claim → finding → source URL (or “refused”) on accountability files.
- Rumours without filings or on-record confirmation do not run as fact.
- Primary government / court URLs are marked in the sources list.
